I think its also worth noting that sometimes there is no “cause”. Sometimes it really is a matter of correcting an imbalance in the brain. And no amount of therapy will do the same job as the medication. However, I still totally support therapy for everyone because WE ALL HAVE ISSUES.

Absolutely: different strokes for different folks, y’all. For some medication is what works for them, for others, psychotherapy is the winner - for others still, a combination of the two. Writing off the whole of psychopharmacology because it doesn’t work for some people is just a bit silly, isn’t it?
