Nurse who worked for Atos Origin quits and apologises for "tricking people out of benefits."
A nurse who worked as an assessor for Atos Origin, a private company paid by the British government to determine whether or not claimants of sickness benefits are well enough to work, quit her job and apologised after admitting that the system was rigged against claimants. Atos Origin has found many, many people who are clearly not fit to work, including dying people, fit for work. Reading the linked article makes me feel very sorry for the nurse, and far, far sorrier for all the people harmed by Atos.
