its very hard for me to go to the GP and Dentist for check ups. I manage it but can easily see that people just don’t go and live in pain or with health problems :( they hardly ever do home visits either! I went for years without check ups

Yeah, I understand that. There’s also the issue that doctors, with limited time to dedicate to each person, may be ‘blindsided’ by mental health symptoms / struggle to communicate with persons with severe learning disabilities and not get a chance to properly assess their physical health.
