I’ve never had to deal with schizo-affective disorder, nor even been close to someone who has (insofar as I know). However, I think that this woman really gets to the root of what a lot of people who have fought with mental disorders have gone through far more clearly than I ever could. Hopefully that means that she is well on her way to recovery.

My son was diagnosed with this disorder 15 years ago. He’s not getting help. Has no insurance to do so & no job. Area we live in has no real support system, as they once did. My “best friend” (now deceased) had schizophrenia. 

That’s terrible! Are there no free mental health care resources available? Yet again I am astounded by private healthcare. I’m so sorry to hear this.
