Yes, you’re right: it’s an important point that I should have made with my post: there’s definitely not parity of treatment across “physical”* illnesses either!

*I use “physical” in quotation marks because the divide is often made between “physical” and “mental” illness and it’s easy therefore to forget that most mental illness has been proven to be physical or biological in basis i.e. pretty much all illness is physical, so labelling only some as such is a little misleading. Yes, I’m really pedantic about these things.
